trEnv: Envato Analysis Tool
What is it?
trEnv is an Adobe Air application for Envato MarketPlace Authors specifically aimed to analyze sales and earning of items across time.
Due the Marketplace API limitations, this application will use the .csv statement files, available for download from every Envato author account, to analyze sales and earnings of your items.
Through powerful charts, you can compare sales and earnings between items and have a real look of the trend across time, from the beginning to date.
If you have any trouble downloading from the badge, contact the author.
How to use it?
Simply go to your Envato dashboard and download to your local machine the csv statement files. Each statement is relative to one month of activity. So once you have downloaded your past statements, simply update your data each month, when the last statement is complete.
Put them into a folder and tell to trEnv where is located (through the below button or the application menu).
trEnv will remember where that folder is located.
Sensible Data
Since trEnv doesn’t use the Marketplace API, it won’t need to connect to internet. It will work only on your local machine using the csv files you’ve previously downloaded.
While there is a simple solution to automate the download process, knowing the importance of that data I preferred to leave this task up to you manually.
What’s next?
This is the first release of trEnv and it should be considered in early stage.
While I have some ideas about how to improve and extends the application, I decided to put it in the wild to get feedbacks from the users.
